PostNord is temporarily pausing certain goods to the United States and Puerto Rico

PostNord (Swedish postal service) announces a temporary pause on postal shipments containing goods to the United States and Puerto Rico, effective August 23. This follows a recent change in customs and tariff rules for the U.S. that eliminates the De Minimis exemption for inbound goods.
As of August 23, 2025, PostNord will temporarily suspend postal shipments containing goods to the USA and Puerto Rico. The reason is new customs regulations announced on July 30, 2025, which eliminate the de minimis exemption for incoming goods.
Message from the AFU team:
We are currently unable to send off business parcels to the USA (including Puerto Rico). When the situation will resolve depends largely on the daily changing mood of a certain President. :-)
We can, however, accept your order, but will hold on to the materials you have ordered. If in great need of the material please contact AFU at afu.headq@gmail.com - we might find a solution for you.
Warning, though, if placing orders: Your items might be charged with hefty import customs fees when arriving at your address. What you pay us will possiblbly not be your full cost as it has been, until now.
Customs fees ("tariffs") are largely considered old-age obstacltes for a free trade. Books and magazines we send to the US have, most often, been printed and produced in your country and should be freely available as part of your heritage.
